Fabric Painting with Maggie Vanderweit

Saturday, January 26, 2019 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

These non-toxic, colourfast paints are made by adding liquid pigment in small amounts to a thick white base. The colours look the same on white fabric as they do in the container and you will be free to mix your own. The paint is great to work with and offers no end of design possibilities, it can be applied thickly or thinly, and cleans up with water. It is absolutely amazing to know how to create completely original fabric to make one-of-a-kind quilts and fibre art.

All skill levels are welcome.  Participants will be using beginner kits of Colour Vie (colourfast paint) provided by the instructor. Kits are $55 and payable to the instructor.  White cotton will be available for sale by instructor. Please bring fabric to paint on.
