SUMMARY:Jewellery Making with Donald Stuart
DESCRIPTION:Join jewellery designer Donald Stuart for a private tour of his exhibition\, Homage\, followed by a step-by-step demonstration in jewellery making.  In this fun and creative workshop\, simple tools will be used to create a unique cuff bracelet or perhaps a pendant or two.  Using bands of anodized aluminium\, participants will learn how to texture and personalise their design into a finished\, wearable piece of jewellery.  This is an adult workshop\, however kids 12 and up are welcome to come with a guardian to help.  All materials and tools will be supplied\, but please note that there will be quite a bit of hammering involved so it might get noisy! \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				WORKSHOP MATERIALS LIST \nALL materials are supplied by the instructor \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				PRICE $35 +HST Members / $45 +HST for General \n			\n				CLICK HERE TO REGISTER \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				 \nPlease note: \nOMAH’s programs are run on a cost recovery basis.  We reserve the right to cancel this program if minimal registrant numbers are not met. SUMMARY:Gangs\, Guns and Grog: True Stories of Orillia’s Wild West Days
DESCRIPTION:This summer OMAH’s popular guided downtown walking tour returns. Gangs\, Guns and Grog is themed around Orillia in the 1870s\, a time in which there was a licensed pub for every 150 citizens and it was legal to carry a loaded and concealed firearm. 1870s Orillia was chaos\, and we are so excited to tell you all about it every Wednesday night! Tours will depart from OMAH at 7pm and finish at Couchiching Craft Brewing Co. at 8:30pm where your first drink is included in your ticket price (participants must be over 19 years old to be served alcohol). Please wear appropriate footwear to walk in. This program begins on Wednesday July 5\, and will run every Wednesday until the end of August. Book now as space is limited!
