Our main goal is to encourage women to express themselves artistically in a themed group show\, which is not juried and inclusive of all abilities\, experience and orientations. The spirit of the exhibit is one of affirmation and co-operation. \nAs we celebrate 27 years of expression and exhibition\, this year’s artists have embraced the challenge of interpreting the theme BEYOND THE SURFACE through both their art and story. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Please note that this is exhibit is now closed for submissions. The resulting exhibition resembles a comfortable parlour featuring books by Mazo de la Roche and Stephen Leacock\, a manual Underwood typewriter and artworks by Arthur and Travis Shilling. She was born and raised in Toronto\, ON to parents of Nevisian heritage.
