Kathryn does architectural renderings for various design\, architectural and landscaping companies. She has been active in the Orillia Streets Alive (street art) project for the past few years and has enjoyed it immensely. Throughout the growing season\, Joanne has been collecting/drying petals and leaves to ink and press on paper using a gel plate. Gel plate printmaking is a modern\, non-toxic and latex free take on traditional gelatin printmaking and requires no printing press.  Participants will create a series of monoprints\, which are single\, one-of-a-kind artworks.     \nAll materials are included.  \n \n Register Now\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n About the Instructor:\nJoanne Mohan joined Parklane in 2011 as a Landscape Designer. Joanne worked in Ireland as a landscape designer\, completing projects for both residential and commercial clients\, and maintaining an Integrated Constructed Wetland.  She considers the use of plants as an important aesthetic element in a garden and encourages the use of native and naturalized planting schemes to ensure a balance between the garden’s ecology and environment. \n  \nJoanne is also a therapeutic horticultural practitioner\, offering educational programs to homeowners\, youth\, and seniors on topics such as plant therapy\, climate-resilient gardening\, and sustainable practices that promote a healthier environment through plants and our gardens.  She understands the value of both\, and how they benefit us mentally\, physically\, and socially.
