She was born and raised in Toronto\, ON to parents of Nevisian heritage. She attended OCAD University from 1997-2001\, where she Majored in Photography.  Her images have appeared in shows at the Power Plant\, Toronto\, ON; the Scottish National Gallery of Fine Art\, Edinburgh\, Scotland; \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Jose Salas painting\, generously on loan from the Salas family. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Jose Salas\, an art teacher at Park Street Collegiate Institute from 1969 to 1994\, left a lasting impression on many of his students.  This exhibition will feature several pieces of Oille was a Canadian artist and printmaker (1912-1977) who lived in Oro Medonte in the 1940’s\, creating images for the book “The Owl Pen” by Kenneth Wells. This exhibition will also feature current rural landscapes and places of personal significance. \n  \nGillian Lowry is a multidisciplinary artist working in printmaking (relief printing and screen printing)\, digital illustration\, painting and sculpture. OMAH is home to over 23\,000 artefacts but what does that actually mean?
