Fun For The Whole Family!

Family Fun Drop in returns this month!

What is Family Fun Drop in? Family Fun Drop In is an hour long art class for kids of all ages! Learn something new or practice a skill every week at OMAH. Each month has a different theme. Join us in October to learn all about the fundamentals of drawing! Family Fun Drop in happens from 2-3 pm on Sundays.

With a new season of Family Fun Drop In, comes a new and exciting instructor. Payton Hauck is an emerging visual artist born and raised in Orillia, Ontario. She first studied art at Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary school after which she graduated in Design and Visual Arts at Cambrian College. Currently, she is  enrolled in Museum and Gallery Studies at Georgian College and taking her education practice to the Family Fun Program.

Growing up in a creative and crafty family, she always had a passion for art inspired by her mother, Heather. Payton is a familiar face for most of our young program attendees. Payton has been employed with OMAH for the last few years as the Community and Education Programs Assistant. She enjoyed working with the camps in the summer.

“ I am stoked about the upcoming Family Fun Art activities that will occur every Sunday from October to May. This packed full October we’ll have a chance to explore the fundamentals of drawing, as well as the use of new materials and techniques with oil pastels, charcoal, and chalk pastels. I’m looking forward to meeting and spending time with all the families!”

Family Fun Drop in is $5 per family or free with a Family Membership.
