Gouache Landscapes with Gary Blundell
Saturday, March 25, 12 pm – 4 pm
In conjunction with the exhibition Burner Herzog, please join artist and geologist Gary Blundell for an afternoon of artmaking. Burner Herzog is an exhibition in which Gary and his partner Victoria Ward are exploring the logging industry, landscape and the changing environment. The afternoon will start with a brief talk and tour through their exhibition followed by a demonstration into the techniques of gouache painting. Participants will then create their own landscapes using Gary and Victoria’s artwork for inspiration as well as the landscapes of Edvard Munch.
