Maple Leaf Appliqué

Kathy K. Wylie is a contributing artist in the exhibition Reflections of Ourselves, a collaborative art project which celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Canadians.   Please join this international-award winning artist in appliqué and quilt design, for a half-day, maple leaf appliqué workshop.  Appliqué is defined as a cut-out design that is sewn upon or otherwise applied to a piece of material.  In this workshop, participants will make a turned-edge fabric maple leaf quilt block that could then become a flag, pennant, pillow or quilt patch.  This workshop is offered to adults and teens with adult supervision within the exhibition Reflections of Ourselves.
