Mixed Media Artwork with Robyn Rennie and Peter Fyfe
Wednesday, January 24 – 12 pm – 2 pm
On Wednesday January 24 from 12-2 pm, as part of our Midday-Make series, please join exhibiting artist Robyn Rennie along with Peter Fyfe to create your own mixed media artwork and learn about accessibility in the arts. Robyn Rennie is a visually impaired artist currently living and working in Oak Haven, New Brunswick. In this workshop, participants will view Robyn’s exhibition, Seeing Beyond, learn about writing an audio description and making artwork that is physically accessible. Peter Fyfe is a local artist who works in painting and mixed media art. While Robyn discusses accessibility, Peter will guide participants through a step-by-step art project using texture, mediums, paint and found items. All materials, a light snack and refreshments are included, but participants are welcome to bring their own lunch. No artistic experience is necessary
