Mixed Media Collage Midday Make with Angela Aujla
Wednesday, October 4 – 12 pm – 2 pm
On Wednesday, October 4 from 12 to 2 p.m., as part of our Midday-Make series, please join regional artist Angela Aujla for your chance to make a mixed media collage based on a personal photograph or two. Angela Aujla is a visual artist who works in mixed media drawings to digital collage. Her work explores the complexities of history, memory, culture and identity in the South Asian diaspora. Participants are asked to bring in one or two personal photographs, or reproductions of photographs, that explore their own family history and identity. Under Angelas guidance, participants will then create one or two mixed media collages. Aside from your personal photographs, all materials, a light snack and refreshments are included. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch.
No artistic experience is necessary.
