Plaster Carving with Elaine Bremer
On Wednesday, May 8, from 12 to 2 p.m., as part of our Midday-Make series, please join regional artist Elaine Bremer for your chance to learn about three-dimensional plaster carving. Elaine discovered her love of sculpture during a 3-year adult art program at Central Technical School in Toronto. She works in clay, plaster, metal and glass. Please note that your project might not get finished in the two hour time allotment, but participants are welcome to continue the process at home. All materials, a light snack and refreshments are included, but participants are welcome to bring their own lunch. No previous carving experience is necessary.
