About the Orillia Vocal Ensemble
The Orillia Vocal Ensemble (OVE) is a community choir based in Orillia, Ontario. Since 2010, the ensemble has presented concerts and performances that support local charities and nonprofit organizations through music.
The choir was founded by Roy Menagh following a successful collaborative fundraising concert with the Orillia Wind Ensemble. What began as a one-time partnership quickly evolved into a thriving independent choir with charitable status and a membership of more than 70 singers.
Today, the ensemble is led by Artistic Director Blair Bailey, a longtime leader in Orillia’s music community, educator, accompanist, and former music director at St. Paul’s United Church.
OVE performs throughout the year in concerts, collaborative arts events, and seasonal appearances across the region.
