On September 20, 2024 OMAH staff, board members and guests celebrated OMAH’s 25th anniversary. We looked back at our past 25 years and are eagerly looking forward to the next 25 years.

Chris Robinson is an award winning saxophonist and composer. For decades part of the Toronto jazz community he playstenor, alto and soprano sax. He’s had the distinct honour of performing with such legends as Peter Appleyard, DonThompson, Terry Clarke, Bernie Senensky, Salome Bey and the Benny Goodman All Stars. With a Juno nomination forbest jazz recording he also has an award winning self produced CD “Pleased To Meet You” which won album of the yearby the London Free Press and garnered top status from Jazz FM in Toronto. In addition to his saxophone message, Chrisalso lends his natural vocal talents to an eclectic variety of jazz classics , early blues and an interesting blend of popgems. All told, Chris Robinson is a vibrant entertainer who loves to spread joy everywhere he plays.

In celebration of OMAH’s 25th anniversary, there was a silent auction of 25 Time Pieces. These works were on view in rotation at the Museum, and made available for viewing and bidding at the event. Guests supported OMAH through this auction and our mission for another 25 years of excellence.
