This exhibition will feature recent and new urban and rural landscapes by Barrie-based artist, Deb Grise. Grise is a self-taught artist and has been working with watercolours and oils of over the past 20 years. Her style is contemporary impressionism and is inspired by the light, which helps her paint a variety of subjects from landscapes to florals and still life using unique brushwork and limited palette.

Quilts are not just a matter of needlework. They are a form of modern art that has inspired major movements in the western art world. This exhibition will be primarily composed of quilts, patterns, and archival documents from OMAH's collection. As a counterbalance, it will also include contemporary interpretations of quilts. Quilts are works of art that are rooted in history with the stories they tell and ultimately transcend the domestic realm.
