Places stay the same, but buildings come and go. Showcasing photographs of iconic places in Orillia as they once were while contrasting with current photographs by Samantha Vessios, puts history into context. History is all around us and exists within our everyday lives. We need to remember our history through our stories and preservation of objects and historic buildings. Learn about iconic places as they were “then” and what they are “now.”
