everyone has a story: tales of a community
Since the beginning of time, humans have been sharing their stories through imagery, writing, and sound. We think in stories, remember in stories, and turn just about everything we experience into a story. Stories are what shape our world.
These are the stories of Orillia’s ordinary folk, the ones who are quietly making a difference, defining a community, and moving Sunshine City’s long and rich history forward.
This online project was developed with the support of the Digital Museums Canada investment program. Digital Museums Canada is managed by the Canadian Museum of History, with the financial support of the Government of Canada.
The Digital Museums Canada investment program helps build digital capacity in Canadian museums and heritage organizations and gives Canadians unique access to diverse stories and experiences.
