Artist Statement
My work explores, questions and celebrates the complex relationship humanity has with nature. The power of natural life and our connection as well as our disconnect with it is expressed as a biomorphic assimilation and visual mash up. As a result of what can appear as an anthropomorphic evolution of image and form, mythical narratives are evoked and suggested that question the philosophical position of “our” relationship to and with the natural world; a posthumanist query.
