Great Tait:

The True Story of Orillia’s First Millionaire

Orillia of the 1870s was a place of great potential: a place where a person who was willing to work hard could make a name for themselves. Andrew Tait was one person who did just that, and is likely to have been Orillia’s first millionaire as a result. In “Great Tait: The True Story of Orillia’s First Millionaire”, we examine the life of this self-made businessman and the legacy he left behind.
