John Gould (1929-2010) was a master draftsman, acclaimed jazz musician, and filmmaker who made several short films based on his drawings. He travelled to Japan, Mexico, Peru and Spain, where he spent his time sketching the local people in cafes and markets. Travels of the Mind and Body is an exhibition of these sketches along with works from the artist’s imagination.
